In the New Testament, the church was organized locally. Paul
wrote "to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including
the overseers and deacons" (Phil. 1:1). The church at Philippi
consisted of Christians and they were organized with overseers, or
elders, and deacons serving in the local church. Broadmoor is a
group of Christians, including elders and deacons.
